Meet Jeff Ronhaar

I didn’t start as a “business coach.”

I started as a young business owner who had to figure it out the hard way.

It all began with my old paper route as a 12 year old. After many years of delivering papers and building relationships in my hometown of Hamilton (Mount Hope to be specific), I realized that some of my customers also had long grass... I did some market analysis (as well as any young guy who skipped classes could) and realized how saturated the market already was in Hamilton. I remember crunching the numbers on the neighbouring town of Caledonia and thinking "Wow, I could serve a lot more people if I lived there"... Next thing you know in 1994, I took ALL of my savings with me to Caledonia and launched Jeff’s Outdoor (back then it was called Jeff's Lawn Care) with the kind of beginnings most people can relate to. Small savings. Scrappy attitude. 

Over the years, after many 20 hour workdays and sleepless nights, my reputation and client base in Caledonia eventually blossomed and I was fortunate enough to be able to hire help. We worked together, we made mistakes together, we bled and sweat together. Because of the culture we built together my team and I grew Jeff's Outdoor into a thriving, multi-million-dollar landscaping company, built with intention, grit, and a deep respect for both customers and team members.

But growth isn’t just about getting bigger. It’s about getting better.

As Jeff’s Outdoor matured, I became obsessed with what actually creates a strong business foundation. Systems that reduce stress. Processes that make quality consistent. Leadership habits that keep your team aligned. Operations that don’t collapse when you step away. The kind of structure that lets a business owner breathe again, and enjoy the life they’re working so hard to build. And eventually, I realized something new... The lessons I am learning aren’t just for me.
